Our standard

Casa Bonita Beach builds this site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, with WCAG 2.2 additions applied wherever practical. In plain terms, the site is designed to be perceivable, operable, and understandable without a mouse, without sound, and without perfect vision.

What that looks like here

  • Every page starts with a skip-to-content link for keyboard and screen reader users.
  • Every photo carries descriptive alternative text.
  • The mobile menu button announces its open or closed state, WhatsApp buttons are labeled for screen readers, and the FAQ accordions are real buttons that report whether they are expanded.
  • Every field on the inquiry form has a visible label.
  • Pages reflow to narrow screens without sideways scrolling, and pinch-zoom is never blocked.

Known limitations

  • The homepage photo slider advances automatically. It does not yet respond to your device's reduced-motion setting or offer a pause control, and we are still verifying how well it works with a keyboard alone. Every photo in the slider also appears in the gallery, so nothing depends on the slider itself.
  • This is currently the site's only policy page. A privacy policy and terms page are being prepared.
  • Styles are maintained on each page individually, so an accessibility fix can appear on some pages a little before others.
