How far is Tamarindo from Hacienda Pinilla?
Tamarindo is approximately 20 to 30 minutes by car from Casa Bonita Beach. It is not a casual walk or golf cart trip. Plan it as a proper outing: leave the villa after breakfast, drive in, have lunch or dinner, and drive back. For evening restaurant trips, the ideal pattern is to leave around 6pm, eat, and return before 10. The roads are well-paved and the drive is straightforward.

Practical notes for dining out with a large group
Before you go
- Always call ahead for a group of 10 or more. Most Tamarindo restaurants can accommodate large parties but need notice. The concierge can handle reservations on your behalf.
- Any external vendor entering Hacienda Pinilla for pickup needs a gate access code pre-arranged. For restaurants that deliver, let the concierge know at least 24 hours in advance.
- Tamarindo has a single-lane access road into town. During peak season (December to April) and especially during Holy Week, add 20 to 30 extra minutes to the drive estimate.
